Project Fairy Godmother: Prom Dress Giveaway

Need a dress for prom? We have you covered!

Every year before prom season (typically March/April), teens are invited to "shop" for a free dress and accessories, including donated jewelry, shoes, and more.

Since 2017, Anderson Public Library has hosted the annual Project Fairy Godmother: Prom Dress Giveaway, helping teens attend their special occasion without having to worry about the expense. We are proud to have given away about 375 dresses to teens over the years!

Dress Donations: 

We accept gently used or new prom dresses, shoes, jewelry, and unopened makeup throughout the year.

Donations can be dropped off at Anderson Public Library - 111 E 12th Street, Anderson, IN 46016.

Monetary Donations:

Monetary donations help cover program costs and logistics.
