All ages can participate in the winter reading program!
Log your reading time to work towards virtual badges and earn books!
To claim your earned books, visit the Main Library to make book selections in-person. To make your selections online or by phone, visit the WRP Earned Book List , then email your selections to readingprograms@andersonlibrary.net or call (765) 641-2448.
Need to pick up your earned books at the drive-up window at the Main Library or have them sent to the Lapel Branch? No problem, just let us know when you make your selections!

A reading program is an effective and inspiring reading experience for all ages! Our programs feature a theme and reading goals where each participants can earn free books!
We run three reading programs each year.
- Winter Reading – February 1-28
- Summer Reading – June 1 – July 31
- Fall Reading – October 1-31
Yes, registration is required for each reading program. Registration begins two weeks prior to the start of each program. To register, log into your Beanstack account or call or visit the Main Library or Lapel Branch.
We use Beanstack to track all reading information for our reading programs. You can access Beanstack here or download the Beanstack app to track your reading time. Our library staff is also happy to log time for you. You are welcome to visit or call the Main Library or Lapel Branch to have your reading time logged. Each week that you log 60 minutes of reading time, earns you a free book of your choosing! We select and purchase a variety of current, popular, and diverse titles for you to earn during our reading programs. These books are purchased by donated funds from our Friends of the Library group and are separate from the books purchased for our collections in the library.
