Book Talks

The librarians would love to visit your 3rd-5th grade classrooms to talk about books! These can be about a specific topic, or a librarian can work with you to choose appropriate books.

STEAM Storytime

Our librarians would enjoy bringing STEAM into your Kindergarten-2nd grade classrooms. A STEAM activity will be paired with a story. The topic or focus can be chosen from a prepared list.

Assignment Alert

Alert the Children's Department about student papers, projects, or research assignments so they may prepare a display, booklist, or bibliography related to your topic.

Topic Bags

Topic bags consist of 15-20 nonfiction books geared for grades K-5. Teachers may request a specific topic or choose from a list of prepared topics. Bags may be checked out for 28 days (four weeks).
