Notary Public

APL offers free notary public service at the Main Library. This service is generally available Monday-Friday during our normal business hours. However, we recommend that you call ahead to confirm that a notary will be available on the day and time you plan to visit. Know Before You Come:

• Please note that APL does not provide witnesses for signing. Customers are responsible for bring a witness with them to the signing.
• All signing parties must have a current and valid identification
• APL cannot give or provide advice on questions pertaining to the documents needing signed.

Please note: Notaries will not provide service if the customer, document, or circumstances of the request for Notary Service raise any issue of authenticity, ambiguity, doubt, or uncertainty for the library. In this event, the library Notary may, at his/her sole discretion, decline to provide Notary Service.
