Get a Library Card
Library cards can be applied for online, but require identification in person to finalize the application.  Library cards are free to individuals and businesses in Anderson City, Anderson, Stony Creek and Union townships.


APL Events and Classes
You can search the Event Calendar and register for upcoming events. Our Event Calendar is updated monthly with new activities for all ages to enjoy.
Pay Fees Online
Fines and Fees may be paid through a secure online page.


Meeting Facilities
Anderson Public Library offers space in five meeting rooms, free for nonprofit groups and civic organizations in the library district.
Fire Safety House
The Fire Safety House is a two-story structure built inside the library to simulate the experiences of a house fire. The Fire Safety House is open to groups and individuals by appointment. Call (765) 648-6624 to arrange a tour or for more information.


Model Railroaders
The Anderson Model Railroad Club, housed on the library's third floor since 1987, features a depiction of Anderson and Madison County with more than 700 feet of tracks and three main train lines.

You can view items on loan by logging into your account. Items can be renewed via telephone by calling 765-641-2191 or online.
