Anderson Public Library's Indiana Room is dedicated to the study of local history and genealogy. The Indiana Room collection includes a variety of research items for genealogists such as census indexes, volumes on other counties, countries and states and databases.

New Indiana Room hours, effective January 2, 2013:

Monday-Thursday	9:30am-8:00pm
Friday-Saturday	9:30am-5:30pm
Sunday	CLOSED

Many of your questions can be answered by email.		Indiana Room Databases A collection of Anderson Public Library's genealogy and history databases. Find birth, marriage, and death records, historical pictures of Madison County, newspaper articles, and more.

Indiana Room Links A collection of genealogy and history websites.		Anderson Public Library History APL highlights spanning over 100 years! On April 20, 1905, the public was invited to tour the new building. Library service began at 9am the next day.
