2013 Carnegie Award Recipient
Annual Carnegie Award Winner
Beth has spent the last 30 years working as a librarian at APL. She is well-known throughout the state of Indiana for her strengths in genealogy research and for her extensive knowledge of Indiana and local history. Beth shares her knowledge with the Anderson community both in the Indiana Room and through her visits to nursing homes, volunteer groups, and schools. She also organizes and participates in many structured programs at the library, and she is instrumental to APL in a variety of additional ways.
Beth is much loved and well-respected by library customers, and as a longtime employee she has been and remains a wonderful asset to Anderson Public Library. Her years of dedication to the library and to the Anderson area at large deserve recognition. Library Board President Tammy Ihnat presented the award to Beth on April 17, 2013.
