2014 Teen Read 'n' Feed Festival

The Anderson Public Library will host the Second Annual Teen Read ‘n’ Feed Festival on Saturday, April 12. Authors Barry Lyga, Kristin Levine, Saundra Mitchell, and Brenda Maxfield will speak during sessions from 11:30am to 5:00pm.

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to attend but must register or by calling 765-641-2456.  Copies of I Hunt Killers and Archvillain by Barry Lyga, Lions of Little Rock by Kristin Levine, and The Vespertine by Saundra Mitchell are being distributed at school visits and at the Information Services desk while supplies last. Kids Ink Children’s Bookstore from Indianapolis will also be selling books at the Festival. Lunch will be provided to teens only thanks to a donation from Pizza Hut.  The Read ‘n’ Feed Festival is also made possible by funding through a grant given to the Anderson Public Library by the Madison County Community Foundation and the Friends of Anderson Public Library.

Important information:

  • Doors to the Cardinal Room will open at 11:00am. 
  • Additional books by the visiting authors will be available for purchase.
  • Teens must sign in on day of the event to get lunch. Lunch will be provided for teens in grades 6-12 only.
  • Raffle prizes will be given throughout event. Teens must be in attendance to receive tickets and win!
