All ages are invited to APL's fifth annual International Games Day events! Join us on the third floor of the Main Library on Saturday, November 16 between 1:00pm and 4:00pm for a variety of fun and games!

Staff from The Danger Room (833 E. 53rd St) will be on the third floor landing demonstrating some games--come play something new! In the Chief Anderson Room you'll find a casual game of Giant Scrabble, retro gaming on an Atari 2600, and a "game library" (as seen in the picture here). Borrow one of the many games, play with your friends or family, then return it and try another. You can also try your hand at 8-bit crafts (pictured below) in the Redbud Room and make something to take home with you. Games geared towards children 12 and under will be in the Cardinal Room.

And did we mention that there will be a chance to win fabulous door prizes? (Courtesy of the Friends of the Library and The Danger Room.) Don't miss it!clientuploads/blog/adults/8bitcrafts.jpg
