"Us and Them"

Anderson University music professor Dr. Christopher Holmes will present “Us and Them”: Loneliness and Belonging in Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. Throughout this iconic album, the album’s narrator longs for relationships but questions whether such intimacy is possible. Dr. Holmes will discuss the musical traits Pink Floyd uses to explore this loneliness and belonging, madness and sanity. Join us on Thursday, May 23 at 6:00pm for an in-depth look at this classic album and a reflection on the mental continuum of madness and sanity.
